A Levels Subjects in Pakistan

Choosing the right subjects can make or break your career. When there are scores of careers to choose from then there are scores of A Levels subjects in Pakistan to choose from, too. It all depends on the careers you want to pursue in your professional life. Regarding your academic and professional careers, it is very important how you choose your A Levels subjects in Pakistan. Advanced Levels (A Levels) subject selection is totally dependent upon the field/major of your bachelor’s. If you want to go for medical, or natural sciences, then the biology group is right for you; if you want to go for engineering, then you must go for the engineering group; and the same is applied for business, humanities, and arts. Normally, students take Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies, Computer Science, Accounting, English, Sociology, Psychology, and Urdu based on their choice of bachelor’s program and the university/college requirements they aspire to go to.

Also, while choosing the subjects, it also matters what you have studied in your O Levels. For example, if you didn’t study Biology in your GCSE O Levels, and now you want to take Biology in your AS or A Levels, then it would be hard for you to grasp the advanced concepts until you put in extra effort to cover the whole syllabus of O Levels, or take O Levels Biology separately to add Biology to your O Levels subjects list because late on some universities would be requiring that you must have studied Biology at both the levels. And same is the case with other mainstream subjects such as chemistry, maths, physics, and computer science among others.
